FDS Project Overview
The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Cumberland County Schools (CCS) the Fostering Diverse Schools Demonstration Grant. This grant addresses significant challenges related to academic and disciplinary disparities in treatment, resource access, and opportunities among CCS students due to status, geographic location, and disparities. The grant project centers around designing and planning a district-wide Integrity Framework focused on MTSS, restorative practices, targeted professional development, and community engagement.
Focus: EE Smith, Douglas Byrd, and Westover Attendance Areas. 30 Schools.
